Sharan Raja

“The first mistake is never the one that ruins you. It is the spiral of repeated mistakes that follows. Missing once is an accident. Missing twice is the start of a new habit.”

– James Clear

training philosophy

My training philosophy is: “Clarity is everything”. It is crucial to understand the reason behind your actions. It is easy to lose motivation or switch to a different training approach when you feel lost and don’t see any results. However, when you are part of a system that you understand, everything becomes clear. You know why things aren’t working, and there’s no need for frustration because you know how to make it work. Every step is accounted for, and you know when to be patient and keep going or change your trajectory.

3 fun facts

  1. The path that led me down to fitness and health all started when I was younger and got into a pretty rough scrap.
  2. Thought it was a great idea at the time, but I once camped in a depression with my mates as a river flooded around us overnight. 7 years later I still enjoy putting myself into dangerous situations when camping and living life in general. I just got better at it.
  3. I’m currently a really bad amateur saxophone player, hoping to be a really bad regular saxophone player
